If there is one person with her finger on the pulse of what’s happening in southern Delaware County, it’s Gwen Skalish, who managed the MacDade Mall in Ridley Township for nearly three decades. Gwen’s experience and perspective bring a dimension to the practice of real estate that is unique – one that adds exponentially to her personal and professional arsenal when coordinating property transactions for her clients.
Gwen’s career success can be attributed in part to her ongoing active involvement in business and community organizations, including serving as Team Recruitment chair for the American Cancer Society Relay for Life; past president of the Glenolden Business Association; Youth County Committee member of the Delaware County Work Force Investment Group; Deacon of The First Presbyterian Church of Glenolden; Past member of the Board of Directors of the Ridley Community YMCA; and President of the Glenolden Citizens of July 4th Committee. Gwen’s hard work and participation in these and other local organizations have provided her with an impressive network throughout the region, but also have enabled her to contribute in a significant way to improving the standard of business and community life in Delaware County.
Making her community better is one of the reasons Gwen decided to work at Russo Real Estate. “Having been in the business for many years, I believe that RRE cares about the community, and I know that this agency has made a difference in our area,” Gwen states.
Gwen previously lived in Glenolden for 45 years. She currently resides in Secane, Delaware County.
